Where can I buy tickets for Krilo catamarans?

Krilo has sale points in each port, some are there own, others are travel agencies located at or near the port. Alternatively you can easily buy the ticket online.

Do the tickets need to be printed?

We do recommend to print the tickets and have them with you when boarding. However, if you have tickets on your phone, showing the QR code / PDF of the tickets when boarding should be fine as well.

How much luggage can I bring on board? Can I bring a bicycle on the Krilo catamaran?

Yes you can, but you will have to buy a ticket for yourself and bicycle online upfront as there are only a few places for bicycles on each departure.

Can I bring my dog on the catamaran?

Yes Krilo is the name of a city, and the Krilo ferry company is from that city.

Split → Korcula

Split to Korcula ferry is a summer route operated in the period mid-April till the end of October. In April, May, and October, there are up to 3 daily departures. In June, July, August, and September there are 5 daily departures, and the sailing time is about 2 hours and 20 minutes.

The route is run with fast ferries/catamarans for foot passengers only. If you plan on coming to Korcula island in a car, then you should take the car ferry from Split to Vela Luka. You could also drive to Orebic and take the car ferry from there to Domince on Island Korcula.

The new catamaran passenger ferry Iris 6.2 was constructed at Iris Catamarans Aigrefeuille shipyard, located near La Rochelle, France. Its length is about 40 meters and has a capacity of 398 passengers, which makes this ferry one of the largest that will operate on the Adriatic Sea. It has two engines of 2300KW, with a max speed of 40 knots.

We are travelling from Split on 07/09 by Ferry to Vera Luka, arriving 13.45 We then need to get to Lumbarda. Can you tell me if there is a direct bus service? Otherwise, the bus to Korcula town seems to leave at 13.35, 10 mins before the ferry gets in. Is this right?

In my opinion, with new vessel which have capacity of 400 it is unlikely to expect it to be overbooked.

Shane: If you are lucky enough that your flight is not late, you can make it to 5pm ferry. You can not buy tickets in advance, but at the ferry / catamaran once you arrive. Alternative is to take a bus that leaves Split at 1am (1 hr after midnight) and arrives in Korcula at 6am.

Marko/ABYS: It is hard to definetly answer your questions. It depends of decision by crew of particular vessel, depending how much space is left, what are weather conditiones etc.. If you pack your bike flat, you have more chance to be accepted. Also, if you come early and negotiate you might be accepted even without packing it flat if there are space available.. there is no definite answer for this. Good luck 🙂

Tomas, you have to etiher drive to Drvenik and take car ferry from there to Sucuraj on Hvar or to take car ferry from Vela Luka to Split and change there to another car ferry to Stari Grad @ Hvar island.

Kartika, at the present you can get ferry from Hvar to Korcula in the late afternoon @ 19:00. Ferry port is in the centre of the town, very close to Old Town.

Ferry catamaran Krilo Jet

A fast foot passenger catamaran ferry Krilo Jet belongs to UTO Kapetan Luka ferry company that is based in Krilo Jesenice, near Split.

The Krilo Jet catamaran is 43 meters long and 10.85 meters wide with speed of 34 knots. It has a capacity of 398 passengers. The ferry, which was constructed in 2002 in France, was acquired by Kapetan Luka ferry company, Croatia in 2007.

Krilo Jet is currently serving Kapetan Luka’s ferry route 9608, connecting ferry port Korcula with Prigradica, Hvar and Split.
